My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, with a few ups and downs. The location was convenient, right in the city center, but the street was a bit dimly lit. The hotel was in a convenient location close to Reading town centre, making it easy to access. The rooms were a bit cramped due to an unusual layout with an alcove before the bathroom. The service from the staff, particularly from Lithuania, was friendly and helpful.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms had a unique character and were spacious with nice ensuites, the strong smell of curry from the Indian restaurant downstairs was quite noticeable. The service was friendly and professional, but there was an issue with smoking near my window which was promptly addressed. The location was convenient for exploring the city center, but the breakfast provided was basic. Overall, a decent option with some drawbacks.
